p.s.  Judge Crater was on TWA 800.  I just know it. Was he in the "smoking" section?

You’re SO naive.  The "second gunman" theory presumes that Oswald actually was the "first gunman" — and we all know that Oswald was just a patsy.  In fact, I personally believe that Oswald is the ONLY person in Dallas that day who was NOT involved in the assassination of JFK. Some people just can’t see the facts staring them straight in the face…. :)

I think the "second gunman" is responsible for the Atlanta and the TWA bombings. The FBI received the information from that space creature that the Air Force has hidden.

Good point! In the United States of America……you’re innocent until PROVEN (beyond the shadow of doubt) guilty.

That would be "beyond a reasonable doubt" How could he have been a suspect?  Because HE noticed the bomb and saved a lot of people???  Thin….real thin.

Good PR… Let screw the hero! Once doing it….they HAD to ride it out at whatever the cost……to keep the economics of the Olympic Games secure…..

Actually, the FBI only considerd him a viable suspect.  They investigated him and moved on. It was the Media that "locked him in". They acted pretty quick and ran Mr. Jewell through the proverbial ringer…

Who ran him through the ringer? He was there, fit the profile, and they moved fast. Even though they could not prove he committed the crime, they could not say that he did not commit the crime either. The media wanted all the answers ASAP. He was eventually eliminated as a suspect. Life goes on. I guess they should have believed him when he said he was guilty.

I don’t know what’s worse.  The fact that we even have to question our FBI in their investigation, or the fact that it’s a true possibility that TWA 800 may very well have been downed in what would be the most "proposterous military blunder" to date. Going back to the ‘96 Olympic Bombing in Atlanta, you’ll remember how quickly the FBI locked on to Richard Jewell so as to "quiet the masses" and calm those into believing that yes……"the FBI got their man!"  They had to do it.  Had the games been avoided the Olympics! The FBI knew immediately that they had no suspect.  They acted pretty quick and ran Mr. Jewell through the proverbial ringer…….for the good of the world?  This poor guys life is finished. It was only well after it was out of everyone’s mind, that the FBI let out that "yes oops…..they WERE wrong after all!"  But it wasn’t so tragic by then.  The event was cared. That’s when the FBI lost all credibility as far as I was concerned.  They’ll do what they’re told by their superiors….at ANY cost! Notice now they’ve pinned the Atlanta bombing on this guy they’re looking for in the mountains!  Yeah….because they’ll shoot his ass and then it’ll never be known for sure.  They might as well have pinned it on some cartoon character!  Might have made a better story! Fact is……we’ll never know who planted that bomb at the ‘96 Olympics and we’ll never know who (or what) really happened to TWA 800. The FBI must however keep the persona that they are in fact, the best at what they do.  They may very well be too….at investigations AND covering up the truth. What are you going to do?   There’s nothing you can do. (just pray that you’re not in the wrong place at the right time like Richard Jewell was.  The guy was called a hero and for good reason…until they needed their scapegoat.  What a great story THAT made for the media!  Wag the dog!)

This latest TWA 800 drivel reminds me of a satirical headline run by The Onion, a fake online newspaper.  I don’t remember it exactly, but it was something like: "New Evidence Shows JFK Actually Shot 137 Times By Freemasons, CIA, Cubans, FBI, Space Aliens….." Whether or not Mr. Stalcup calls himself a scientist, nobody is likely to mistake him for one…. The Eyewitness Evidence As reported by the news media in the days and weeks following the tragedy, some eyewitnesses saw an object that appeared to streak toward Flight 800 before it exploded and crashed.  Were these news reports true?  Yes. According to NTSB (National Transportation Safety Board) Exhibit 4A (The Witness Group’s Factual Report)  [ http://www.corazon.com/EX4Apage6.html ] "102 gave information about the origin of the streak. Six said the streak originated from the air, and 96 said that it originated from the surface." According to NTSB Exhibit 4A, 94% of the eyewitnesses who gave information concerning the streak’s origin said that it rose from the surface.  However, the CIA was contracted to produce a video which depicted the eyewitness observations, as explained by Congressman James Traficant, who investigated the investigation of TWA Flight 800 [ http://www.house.gov/traficant/twaflight800report.htm  Part IV, paragraph 5 ]: "The CIA…conducted a detailed analysis which focused on determining whether the eyewitnesses saw a missile… CIA analysts did not interview any of the eyewitnesses. They analyzed the statements only." In their attempts to determine whether the streak of light seen by eyewitnesses was or was not a missile, the CIA did not interview or meet one eyewitness. Instead, analysts relied on the notes or reports thereof, from FBI investigators with little or no experience in crash investigations. The CIA concluded that the streak of light was the plane, itself, after a spontaneous explosion of the wing center tank.  Since Flight 800 was at 13,800 feet (2.6 miles) at the time of initial distress, this conclusion is in direct conflict with 94% of the relevant eyewitnesses.
