Looking for an agent
Question:
Thru the grapevine I have been told that Pastorini is the most respected by CD’s in the Houston area. Good Luck! Hey, Tom is moving there soon and has checked out a few things maybe he can help you. Good Luck! Mary – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – Hi, I’m a 17-year-old resident of Houston looking for an acting agent in the Houston area. Also, I was wondering if it’s better to find an agent affiliated with a huge talent agency or one that would be more personal and perhaps more enthusiastic on my behalf. Thanks in advance for any help Is Page Parkes still around? I think that agency probably represents models/actors for commercials (in addition to as print). I’m not sure, but I think the agency might also be known as *Intermedia*, or something like that. I went through their model training program and found them to be a pretty good agency to be involved with. I know you’re probably looking for an agent to represent you for more than just commercials, but modeling agencies seem to be a little easier to get signed with and commercials are a good place to start your resume (and they might also be able to get you auditions for film/tv work that comes up in the area). Seems to me that I recollect Top Hat and Pastorini as being two fairly good agencies in Houston.

It may not be that easy. Before you go to the sag site to check out the Screen actor’s guild agents at: http://www.sag.com you might want to read the page at: http://www.actorsite.com/tools/agent.html To learn how the agents think. Best of Luck, The Actorsite. Cast and crew calls, a forum regarding acting in L. A. and other interesting pages to those who live and work in the L. A. acting community. http://www.actorsite.com
