Acting Classes in Alabama???

Hi!!!! I was just wondering if anybody knows a good place in Alabama to take acting classes? I’m an actor, and eventually will be going out west, but for the timebeing, LA is a little out of the way, lol. Jason

Jason, I’ve never visited your fair state, but did meet the then-director of the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, about 12 years ago at an NEA conference. And I was very impressed. If memory serves me, that company works in tandem with with the U. of Alabama’s Theatre MFA program. Some colleges and universities offer some decent actor training…. generally oriented toward the stage, not so much toward film work. But my best advice is to focus on conquering your own market in Alabama…. possibly in Montgomery, and beyond that, who knows? Break a leg, Bill — THE ACTING STUDIO http://gvtg.com/theactingstudio
