Classes WTD: Acting for Directors/Directing Non-Actors
Question:
I’m looking for one or both of the following classes: Acting for Director (or a bieginning acting) class Directing Non-Actors class in the NH-Boston corridor. Something worthwhile or worth the effort. I know it’s a lot to hope for. Thanks -Steve email preferred.

I’m not familiar with the classes available in Boston, Stephen, but I’d recommend a regular acting class instead of an "acting for directors" class. Just go ahead and jump in the pool. Act in some scenes. You’ll develop a quick understanding of what is required, directorially speaking. And many acting teachers will let aspiring directors direct scenes in class. I know I do this in my San Francisco workshops. Ed Hooks
