May is the month in Maine when the trees get leaves, the flowers bloom, and everything is brand new. It is like a beginning, full of excitement and hope. Take care, Liz

That’s funny, that’s when my allergies start. (ragweed) But you’re right about the weather. I like either the spring or the fall best because of that. I really hate the humidity. — Remove "spamaway" to respond by email.

:hat is your favorite month of the year? Why? I have three I love October because the trees are changing colors, the air is crisp and dry and I love the smell of fireplaces. I also love December because of the holidays and getting together with family and friends. May is another favorite being there is great anticipation of what will start blooming in my gardens……the birds are busy setting up house and the temp is still comfortable. February, mainly because in New Zealand the weather is the nicest – full on summer. Also, myself, my husband and my daughters birthdays. Plus the Xmas rush is over with!! Imogen

The days are full of a certain kind of melancholy. You want to enjoy each nice day,cause you know *real* autumn will set in soon. The light in september is so beautifull and in the morning you often have this damp on the fields that will disappear when the sun gets stronger. There is a certain smell in the air that makes me feel content. Sometimes you have these days into oktober Love from Anna

I’ll pick April, not too hot, not too cold. I get a burst of spring cleaning motivation that I can apply towards major home projects like building a deck or paint the house.
