The SD Rep, & Old Globe have acting classes I believe, and if you hear of classes given by Jack Banning, they seem to be very popular. Your best "bang for the buck" may well be the local community colleges. 16 weeks at 3 hours a week. 3 unit classes at 11 dollars a unit for Cal. residents — but even if you paid the out-of-state tuition fee it’s something like 120 dollars a unit—still cheaper all around.
