tips in getting into acting?

Question:

Hi, my name is Biancaa, I aam 16 years old and live in Victoria, australia. im not sure how this place really works but i was wondering of anyone in here actually knows anything about actually getting into the business. i have done acting since i was about 10, but my main act is singing which ive done for my whole life, ive won local awards and everyone tellss me i should enquire about performing arts, but dontt know much about it. So any info would bemuchly appreciated. Ive done some modelling, won a few contests and stuff, but prefer singing. im willing to do other things as well though. If anyone has any idea or they themselves has gotten into the industry pleasetell me how, anything would be appreciated because i really need some advice. thanks very much for picking this to read and actually taking the time to read it yours sincerely Bianca

Bianacaa, Check around your area for actign classes, Communtiy Theaters and the Like. they are great training grounds and the support you get as you work with those folks is simply amazing (experience here talking). If you are being told to enquire about preforming arts, by all means do so. Do a web search for you neck o’ OZ and see what you can find. altho’ the phonebook could be quicker along with a visit to the local library or University. keep us informed!
