My intention is to correct your "vision" af amway . The things you tell me are lies. I KNOW because I am in amway. Mike You are correct, Dave, he did only build a primarily one-legged organization. No argument there! Perhaps it is easier in Canada to build more…you may or may not have all the negatives associated with the Amway name like we do here.
Funny bill gates , don trump and newt donot think it is negative. p a religion! The following is from the Random House Dictionary: Cult: intense, often faddish, devotion to a person, ideal, or thing.
What is your point of calling this a cult. seems that if teachers, polititicians do stupid things at their seminars. If you go by you definition than everybody is in a cult of somesort. What about those peptalks at work!! There you have it. If Dexter says it, the devotees do it! I’ve been to meetings where EVERYONE had their Franklin Planners (purchased through Amway at a ridiculous price…for the points…of course), everyone had their little canister of Glister in their pockets or purses. When there was a hush in the room, suddenly…SQUIRT, SQUIRT…everyone shot that overpriced breath freshener into their mouths.
Whats your point? We sell franklin planners ( very affordable after tax time) do you think we buy planners of of you. Virtually every Dexter-ite has their picture of their "dream" on the refrigerator…a brand new Motor Coach (that still is the first dream preached by Dex, isn’t it?).
no actually mine was a bmw . Amotor coach is to hard for me to park! I seen plumbers , teachers have conventions what kind of cult are they? Again, there are plumbers, teachers, etc in other cults as well!
so why call us a cult? I do have friends that are not in business they are still friends… What are you talking about. Maybe you donot have friends Then you are unusual. Simple…part of the ancient dinasaur-like plan of Amway is delivering goods to your clients. Most of us modern MLMers allow customers to buy direct. Tagged and bagged refers to the laborious job of sorting product, getting it ready for delivery, arranging for payment, etc. I meant JUST WHAT I SAID…..CULT! What difference does this make? Whether or not Dave or his specific upline play by the rules has nothing to do with Amway or it’s legitimacy. Frankly, Amway keeps this rule alive only because of government requirements. Gandalf

Mike The only people that dont make money sdont work it right. Again, Dave, you are mistaken! My best friend, Jim, was a Silver Direct with Amway. He worked it right. Did the meetings, showed the plan, etc. He even RETAILED! Wow, now there’s something unusual! What was his biggest check? Less than $100! That’s right. He called, he ordered, he met, he bagged, he tagged, he drove, he put up with bounced checks…. YEA but a one line direct did not build amway rite. tell him to build 3 legs next time!!!
3 legs give me 6 figure income Josh .. how many times did you show the plan ? Maybe you failed Mike do you mean cult or Occult? or do you know the difference Yes, Dave, I do know the difference. I am, after all, a licensed minister whose special area of study is both the OCCULT and CULTS. Amway has long been accused of being involved in the OCCULT…a charge which I do NOT BELIEVE. This has always been based on their symbol, etc.
WHAT symbol is that? What about procter and gamble? I meant JUST WHAT I SAID…..CULT! There is a definite cult-like atmosphere in Amway. Things such as "if someone doesn’t see the opportunity, they are not worth associating with" (a philosophy taught by the Yager crowd). Ever been to a convention (group brainwashing session)? Talk about cult-like tactics!
What religiom are we if we are a cult. SEEMS their are jews .cathlocs , baptists hindus in amway.. WHAT STRANGE RELIGIOUS BELIEFS DO WE HAVE? WHAT STANGE WORSHIP DO WE HAVE? I seen plumbers , teachers have conventions what kind of cult are they? I do have friends that are not in business they are still friends… What are you talking about. Maybe you donot have friends For a real eye-opener, read the book "AMWAY: Cult of Free Enterprise".
Read who stole american dream. The fastest growing amway group is infact north america…lethbridge alberta canada Aas for prices..in canada we beet walmart 60% of the time 40% within 5 dollars . All that and a tax break of 40%
well if you dont know ..GET the facts before you flap off!! This may or may not be true. I am unfamiliar with Canadian pricing. If it’s anything like Canadian health care……
The best in the world!! I donot pay for my illness what about you. How much $$$ would a heart attack cost you. You show your Intellegence In my AMERICAN experience with Amway, their wholesale prices can easily be beat by the local department stores.
Check again… you are in business to sell soap and toilet paper..just like safeway..compare again. Dont forget to add pv/bv and a 40% TAX BREAK AT YEAR END You sound like a poor poor fool with plenty of FREE advice GET all the FACTS Dave I HAVE the facts…I just don’t look at them through rose colored glasses!
Really…. you fooled me .I am in amway for years and your AMWAY is different than mine..WHY? you know it alls know you have to go to work tommorrow dave …31 and By the way, Dave, you still haven’t answered my question as to why you don’t use your REAL e-mail address. What are you afraid of?

Amway has other interests including a very large trucking company which pulls in a lot of money. Not only that, but since many of these MLM programs are only in America, Amway pulls in huge cash from Japan and other companies that want to be involved in MLMs. You WILL find that Amway America is dying. It is no longer in a growth rate. It is in a decline and lossing distributors. The only place Amway is still in a growth stage is Amway Japan. I am tired of crap like this has the balls to compare with Amway. Amway is an old company. The problem is is that Amway is using out of date marketing plans. We are finding that companys can review and update Amway’s plan and grow far faster than Amway ever dreamed of. If you notice, Amway is also paying out too much. That is why the products are too expensive. No one, except zelic Amway worshipers actually buy anything in the catalogs except for the few people that like the Amway soaps which actually are the only products that you can buy cheaply. Tell me who makes your products for this scam what do you know about amway that the presidents of 500 fortune 500 companies dont know? As for this comment, the author obviously isn’t very familiar with a thing we call capitalism.
. Who cares what companies distribute their products as long as it makes money. Plus, Zelic Amwayists are loyal and will buy through Amway. It is almost guaranteed sales for them. I agree with the posts below.. Mike says the rest
In this particular post, I agree with you. Amway does a lot of business. They have proven that MLM works as a mode of distributing product. However, let’s get real. Amway is not the ONLY viable MLM out there, as you seem to want to imply all the time. They are many. Yes, most fail in their first couple of years. This is not as a result of a bad program (many that fail are stairstep/breakaways…just like Amway!), but usually because of underfunding, poor management, etc. As far as the Fortune 500 CEO’s are concerned, they see a fast way to distribute their products…that’s all. They are not necessarily ENDORSING Amway by their association with them (which is NOT what most Amway distributors have been told). It is NOT a partnership, or anything of the sort. Amway simply is acting as the middleman for their product or service. Mike
Joshua, Thank you for the compliment on my posts!
As most will find out, I have nothing against Amway…they have been very successful. I do, however, have a problem with deceptive tactics, cultism, etc that seems to run rampant in the Dexter Yager downline. I recognize this is not Amway’s fault…but they have done nothing to stop it. Mike
