Annoying things people do on a golf course

Question:

My particular peeve is that of conversation as I’m starting to take my stance….hoping that it will cease.  As far as where someone stands, I don’t care, as long as they don’t make sudden moves, or talk. I annoy myself more than others annoy me – especially when I talk during my swing :-)   ___,     o        |       /      .   "Someone likes every shot" bk

Is having someone back there more distracting for the average golfer than I realize?  Because I never know where anybody else in my group is, once I stand over the ball.  (Of course, it’s the aural distractions that trip me up.) cb

Chris, you could do the damned Highland Fling with bagpipes wailing right in the middle of my swing…. however, the only thing that gets *me* is standing right on my target line (and fidgeting).  For some reason my right eye will pick up the motion and want to go there instead of staying at the ball.  <shrug Stand over to either side from behind.  You can still pick up the ball flight.   Scott
