well he apparently has a phone line, so i’d suggest a stack of AOL discs (60 days free).  i think his computer is a Pentium II class (i can’t remember), so it should be fine for surfing and email and newsgroups. there are tons of ISPs well below WebTV’s monthly fees. m.

I phoned Damo this morning. He’s alive and as well as can be expected, considering his inability to be here with us! Here’s an update: Damo says he has been blowing light bulbs, (two)… though whether they were about to die anyway, he doesn’t know… and the remote control has been acting crazy too. A old friend from the farm is flying in today for a visit, and Damo is going to meet him about 1 PM. They went to school together too. His name is Richard, he’s a sax player (day job is physician’s assistant), and also apparently knows something about computers, so maybe he can hook Damo’s computer up and make use of that pile of aol discs. The CD is finished, except for editing to balance volume levels. There are eleven songs. It’s 44 minutes and 40 seconds long. Marianne’s logo drawing is of leaves, to reflect the last song, "Autumn Leaves", and she hand lettered the song list, so it’s a sz collaboration. Damo’s guitar work can be heard in the background for station identification on WDVR FM… the program is "Memories and More", Tuesdays, from 12 to 3 or 4, and the announcer is Tim Bush. Damo says this can be accessed online. Damo hopes to be back here soon. Sandie

thank you lily i am not complaining much these days because it has been so much better lately than it was the last 2 years, which were very trying. take care sharon
