Kiss-up won't get you declassified as a spammer
Question:
In my experience, people who wear perfumes have more rights than me. I had to leave work because I became sensitized to fragrances. The CEO asked for employees to voluntarily comply with a fragrance-free policy, but by law he couldn’t enforce it. Just like smoking is no longer allowed indoors (California), I believe it’s just a matter of time until fragrances are banned as well. Many hospitals and schools are already taking on fragrance-free policies because it is a health issue. I’m sorry if you feel your rights are being taken away. But I am someone living the other side that you mentioned and I am finding out how little rights I have, too. Have a great weekend, Jasmine

Do people who were loads of perfume have rights? Does offensive order bother us? Shall I whine about fat people having very offensive order ? not to mention the health risk of being overweight. Obesity is on the rise, it kills more than smoking FACT, not to mention the strain on the health care system ( Canada) should I apologise for going against the main stream of anti smoking? should I be prejudice ,just to follow others ? Do I not have a say or opinion? being ladled is not nice (a smoker, a Jew, fat, stupid, whore, nigger, etc.. and including spammer) I thought adults were better than that.

smoke free. freagrance free. fat free? …….remember black free. i wonder whats next? I see your point about be sensitive to smells, and it makes sense to me, but I find it maddining that your co workers wouln’t ease off on the perfume, when they know it bothers you. some people can’t see past there noses, unless there going along with the latest trends, people are offended by lots of things daily, i can’t forcast a perfect world where we’re all happy. but at least we can try to keep our personal space , without anyone elses smoke . perfume or B.O invading it. wish I knew how though, I’ve put up with it to a point, but do we have to draw the line for everyone? what rules should we go by, without stepping on anyone toes?

‘g’, I don’t usually chime in to such – because it is my belief that the usual intent is that of a troll. In your case however I also sense a certain illogic and smugness, so: As I sit here( smoking a cigarette) reading all the replies, I wonder to myself if anyone can see the otherside.?
What you do in private is your business, and affects only yourself. What you do in public, around others, affects them as well. By bringing your behavior out to the public you have invested them with the right to both voice their opinion, AND to have a say upon any impact to themselves. Do smokers have rights? Do people who were loads of perfume have rights?
Personal rights have, for all recorded history, been tempered by any adverse impact a particular action may have upon another. Does offensive order bother us?
It can, and for example, as it pertains to personnel action, a company may require better hygiene of it’s employees, and discharge them if they do not comply… Shall I whine about fat people having very offensive order ?
Stop being so simplistic – it won’t further your thesis. Body mass, in and of itself, has no bearing upon any possible ‘odor’. your use of the word ‘whine’ though, is a very old debating ploy – divert, divert, divert – doesn’t wash here. not to mention the health risk of being overweight.
I just knew it –divert, divert, divert…stay on topic please. Obesity is on the rise, it kills more than smoking FACT, not to mention the strain on the health care system ( Canada)
Does not have anything to do with your issue though. ‘odor’ was the topic…In other words, stop trying to substitute apples for oranges if you actually wish to hold forth on something that you have started. should I apologise for going against the main stream of anti smoking?
No should I be prejudice ,just to follow others ?
There you go again. ‘prejudice’? prej
