I try. As I’ve mentioned before, I teach high school, and if I fought back after EVERY comment I’d be pulling my hair out. So, the lesson I learned (and also teach my students) is to pick your battles. I save the fights for the stuff that deserves the fights. You were simply acting out the persona you have created online. I never felt that you meant any harm. If I did, I wouldn’t be quiet about it (not really good at that subtle thing).
