Can someone recommend or give their opinions on some N.Y. acting schools for beginners. robert

Hi – I only joined the group around a week ago but have noticed the presence of a certain "Bloodstained Boots".  Just for the record, his/her ISP provider has been notified, and I understand that the offensive material may be passed onto the requisite authorities.  Although racism may not be a crime in some parts of the world, it is in others.  (ie – where I come from) We cannot prevent Mr/Ms Boots gatecrashing this group in another form, but we can do ourselves the favour of not responding to his anarchic, bigotted views.  I have yet to meet an actor who is remotely comparable with the perpetrator of this filth and therefore feel that I have no other explanation but to say that it must have been something we all trod in. To fellow groupers, thankyou for making me welcome.

No No. I was saying how right-wing P.C’s really are. Jokes about rape aren’t witty, BUT it is the responsibility of the person saying it to police themselves, not for others to. I doubt that. I mean, I’m nearly as left as they come, and I think people who make light of rape (as in the Turbonegro slogan) are macho assholes. It doesn’t follow.

I know lots of women that make light of it, also. I can hardly consider them macho assholes. As I said above, it’s the job of the person making the statement to police themselves. You can’t just tell somebody that they’re an asshole for saying something and expect them to listen. After the point of saying "Hey, you’re an asshole. Stop that", is all redundant. If they don’t listen or care the first time, you can’t expect them to the 10th time. m.
