NY Calling Services…know of any??
Question:
I cut my teeth in LA… I prefer using a good calling service that calls me tells me where and when and what and I just get there and do my job then go home. I like doing extra work as well as acting… hopefully this year I will be able to afford the SAG fee then I will need a good agent. anysuggestions are welcome….insults are free!! check out my website for head shots and list of productions I have been in(I have to update it soon) http://www.kenartist.com Thanks in advance….oh by the way I too am dyslexic and proud!! Here you register at open calls or you mail in p/r. In my opinion — I HATE LIVE ANSWERING SERVICES!!! As someone who has to call and leave messages for people (actors), I LOVE voicemail — I leave my message in my own words and am sure the actor will get them. The live services I’ve dealt with, often the person sounds annoyed, heavily medicated or just plain DUMB! Sometimes they don’t get things right, and in their defense, they don’t know the terms that I may need to use that the actor would, but It’s frustrating.
