xyz being obsessed about BK and the $100 bet, and the money, or something.  I read a couple of those posts and then ignored the rest.

Obessed??  You sure use that term loosely.  Besides, you shouldn’t be too concerned about me.  Just concentrate your energies on hauling your skinny ass through the heat on Saturday.  You’re walking right? Lemme catch my breathe….I’m laughing too hard.    ;-) I think that your advance purchase of about 50 posts is about used up.

Nearly all is in readiness as the citizens of Atlanta have braced themselves for the arrival of a national contingent of golfers who will descend upon this fair city in pursuit of golfing glory and The Coveted Peach Jacket.

RSG is going to be a lonely place this weekend since half the group will be in Atlanta. Get plenty of rest kids, the weatherman looks like he’s going to deliver sunshine and blue skies, as the forecast is now calling for "Sunny" on Saturday and "Partly Cloudy" on Sunday, with highs both days pushing 90.

Great, that will be like a spring day for me.  It’s so hot here in New Orleans I get drenched in sweat walking from my house to my car in the driveway. The countdown has begun:  5 days until RSG-ATLANTA.

As of right now my schedule has me working until Wednesday evening to get my work out.  I’ve almost been working non stop since Friday trying to meet this Wednesday deadline.  I was hoping to get a chance to go to the range Wednesday night but it doesn’t look like it since I’ll be packing and gathering stuff I’ll need for my drive up there. I played 36 yesterday, in 100 degrees, and hope that 10 degrees will make a lot of difference.   The last three holes yesterday were not a pleasant experience.

When Annika says, "bring it," you may think she’s referring to your game, when in fact, she’s referring to sunscreen.

Well, I know you guys will have a great time no matter the weather. I have some advice for the winner of the Peach Jacket.  Stay out of the rain (of course we know it ain’t gonna).  If you’re not fond of Peach, picture in your minds eye the following colour combo: lemony-peach.  Ooohhh.  Enough to make one pucker.

(Which is good news, since they were talking isolated T-Storms for Saturday just yesterday.)  I don’t place much faith in long-range forecasts, but if the weather holds as promised, it means there will be no rest for the weary, as the full 36 holes will be played on Saturday as scheduled.

Our dinner plans are set for Saturday night at TJ’s Sports Bar & Grill, and Friday night a more informal (and possibly smaller) group will make the one-mile trek from the Official RSG-ATLANTA hotel to the Texas Smokehouse BarBQ (which tastes nothing like Texas BarBQ, it’s better) for a quick get-to-know-you dinner and ceremonial scarfing-down of the pre-tunamint meal.
